Happy 4th!

Hope you all enjoy your 4th of July! Every year when I watch the fireworks, I always think about the people that are behind the scenes creating all the action.  So today I looked up to see what company does the Macy*s Fireworks show.  The company is called Pyro Spectaculars and spectacular they are!  I was fortunate enough to be able to work the Macy*s Fireworks show one year.  I watched the whole show from the rooftop of the building that we were shooting the show.  There is so much adrenaline when you see the bright lights but even better, your heart feels the loud bangs.  So imagine if you were actually in charge of setting these off? What a rush!

Not that I will ever do this, but to know there's an option to is great, which means that there's an opportunity to do anything, right?  And that's what this day is all about - the freedom, the decision, the choice.  We have the independence to do whatever we want!  May sound cheesy, but we are very fortunate!
