The Spring Career Fair 
The Spring Job Fair brings a diverse group of employers to Hofstra, representing a wide variety of career fields, seeking candidates to fill full time and part time positions.Click here for a list of participating organizations. 
Wednesday, April 24, 11:00am-2:00pm, David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex 
Before attending the fair, be sure to: 
  • Get your resume critiqued at The Career Center 
  • Register to view The Career Center's webshops on Blackboard 
  • Research the organizations you would like to speak with at the fair

Catch a Career 

This special event is for Hofstra Pride Junior and Senior Athletes only. This event will give Hofstra Athletes a chance to experience Career Center programming and network with employers.

Spring Career Kickoff Event

Jump start your spring job fair preparation with The Career Center and enjoy a free cup of Starbucks coffee or iced tea.

This event is ideal for Math, Engineering, and Computer Science Majors

Alternative Careers in Education 

Majoring in education opens doors to many career paths! Join The Career Center to learn about the industries that are open to education majors, how to find job openings, and how to sell your skills appropriately. 

Friday April 19, 4:00pm-5:30pm in The Career Center 

Volunteer at The Career Center 

The Career Center is looking for volunteers to help out during our "quick question" hours. This is a great opportunity for those looking to: 
  • Develop counseling and communication skills by working one-on-one with students and alumni
  • Build their resume
  • Learn current resume and cover letter writing techniques 
This position is open to graduate students only. You must be able to commit to at least one quick question hour session per week. 

Quick Question Hours: Monday-Thursday from 2-4 and Fridays from 11-1
