Students will participate in small group discussions and have the opportunity to network with and receive advice from Hofstra Alumni and other Industry Professionals representing various Careers in Sports Media, Music and Entertainment, News, Technology and New Media and Non-Profit

Students are invited to Service Networking, an afternoon of community service and networking with professionals and alumni. The program begins at The Career Center where students and professionals/alumni will be transported to Friends of Hempstead Plains . At the site, an informal pizza lunch will take place where students can engage in a healthy dialogue with professionals in the field and make connections. After lunch, students and professionals will work together to cut shrubs, weed, plant seeds, and participate in general spring clean up. Afterwards, The Career Center will provide transportation from the community service site back to the Career Center.
