Suit and Coat Tags are not Mattress Tags! REMOVE!

Ok, this is the truth. You all look great coming for you on campus interviews! Nice new suits. However, one of my biggest pet peeves is when I see suits where people don’t cut off the strings holding together their jacket vents. You know, the little slit on the back of your suit jacket? These should be cut open! Additionally, you know when you buy a new wool winter coat and there is a sewn on tag on the sleeve? You know, the one that says “100% Wool”? CUT THEM OFF!  Nobody is going to arrest you like they will if you take the tag of your mattress (I don’t know about you, but I never understood that!)

Oh and another thing! If you can't get your hands in your pockets because they are sewn shut, feel free to break them open.  Trust me, you will thank me!
