And the survey says…

Over the last few weeks our graduating students started taking the Cap & Gown Survey to determine where they are headed after graduation.  This survey will be administered to our graduating students many times over the next year to make sure we gather as much data from as many individuals as possible.

Why is this so important?

1)   We actually do genuinely care about you and want to know that you are succeeding after graduation

2)   The data we collect is utilized to help support national rankings by such publications like US News and World Reports and Petersons

3)   The data helps us better inform prospective students and their families about the success they may expect after graduating from Hofstra University

4)   The data supports the accreditation of many of our schools and programs here at the University

All of this makes your degree more valuable, more marketable, and more recognizable on the national and international stage.

So, this week as our graduating students prepare to walk across the stage at graduation by picking up their caps and gowns in the Student Center, we ask you to please smile and happily take the Cap & Gown Survey.
