Management is a very broad field, which could be a good or
frustrating thing. There are a lot of different career paths that could fall
within management, but picking which path to go on can be a challenge. The best
way to figure this out is to get hands-on experience in the industry and
network with people that are in management. This will provide you a way to make
contacts in the field and also get a feel for where in management you will best
be suited.
The Career Center is having an upcoming event that will give
students the opportunity to do just that. On Tuesday, April 23rd at
4pm, the Management Training Program Panel event will take place at the Student
Center Multipurpose Room West.
Representatives from various companies such as Geico and Enterprise will
discuss their management training programs in a panel format. Then, the students
who attend and the representatives will get a chance to talk and network.
Students who attend should dress in professional attire, and
don’t forget to bring your resumes!
