How to A.S.K.

Have you ever wondered what career or company you can end up working in after graduating with the major of your choice? Hofstra has the solution, and it involves making Konnections.

Now on your Student Portal, you can use A.S.K. (Alumni Student Konnection). This database allows you to look up alumni based on criteria such as college major, company they are employed in, location, etc. You can then ask alumni informative questions about their careers and the path they took to get to where they are now. The alums on A.S.K. have volunteered to be part of this database, and want to help answer informative questions you may have.

How can you find A.S.K? Log into your Hofstra Portal, click the Hofstra Online tab located on the left-hand side of the screen, and look for “ASK Online - Alumni Student Konnection” on the list under Student Services.

Do you want to find out what to ASK these alumni? Find out at the How to A.S.K. Workshop. It will take place Wednesday, 10/23 from 11:30 to 12:30 at The Career Center. I will be going over how to use A.S.K. and how to network with alumni to get information valuable to your career development.
