Goldman Sachs will be hosting the 3rd Annual Goldman Sachs Virtual Recruiting Process to showcase all summer internship opportunities across every division of the firm, provide increased transparency of the application process for all candidates, and educate students on the firm, its divisions/regional offices and how to prepare for the application and interview process. Following the GS Inside Look webinar series, where the firm will also be hosting interviews throughout January 2015 at various Goldman Sachs offices across the U.S. Seeking Junior/Sophomores graduating in 2016 and 2017. Applicants must register on PrideCMS and apply on the website provided in the attachments.

Go Government: Build a Strong Federal Resume
Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Career Center Workshop Room
Federal resumes differ from traditional resumes in many ways.  They can be anywhere from 2-5 pages and require information not normally found on a traditional resume. Join the Partnership staff and agency representatives as we walk you through how to build a federal resume and highlight its essential parts. Pre-registration is encouraged on Pride-CMS.
Zarb Mock Interview Night
Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 6-9pm in the Career Center
Part of the Zarb Career Series for Undergraduate students. Students have the opportunity to meet with a Zarb School of Business alumnus and engage in a mock interview to polish their interview skills and get tips from employers about how to ace an interview! Must register through PrideCMS to reserve mock interview time-slot.

Information Session for the SUNY Washington Internship Program
Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 11:15-12:35pm at Barnard 201
Find out about Washington D.C.'s most affordable internship program for New York college students. This program allows students to chose their own internship with the help of the internship coordinators! Students will take a class on public policy, earn 6-15 college credits, enhance resume to kickstart their career, complete an independent project, and make new friends and contacts to increase networking opportunities. Open to all students for Fall, Spring, or Summer sessions!

In a fun and interactive session, come hear from Indeed.com employees on how to best utilize one of the most comprehensive search engines for jobs across the globe! In a single search, Indeed offers free access to millions of jobs from thousands of company websites and job boards. You will have the opportunity to use the site during this session, learn how to optimize your search, upload documents, create a profile, and use the app on your smartphone. Pizza will be served and there will be give-a-ways!
 
Bloomingdale’s Information Session

The Bloomingdale’s Executive Development Program (EDP) is your first step in developing your leadership skills to successfully manage multi-million dollar businesses.  Our developmental curriculum provides the skills and confidence needed for you to lead a team of professionals in our stores. You will have exposure to all functional areas of retail from leadership, human resources, promotional events, business analysis, problem solving, buying and planning and visual merchandising.  We will guide you on how to recruit, attract and retain the top professionals in the industry.  You will build problem solving and collaboration skills as well as and influencing and presentation skills.  You will learn how the store team works to maximize sales opportunity by leveraging our core values (People, Service and Loyalty).
