Connect with The Career Center: Nayelli Perez

1. What is your role at the Career Center?

I am one of the Assistant Directors at the Career Center, but I am also the liaison to the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.

2. What did you study in school OR what was your favorite class when you were in school?

As an undergraduate student, I studied Sociology at NYU. I then got my Master of Science in School Counseling in Florida, and received my second Masters at Hofstra in Higher Education and Leadership Policy Studies.

3. Where is your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite place to be is...BurgerFi! (It's right down the street from the Career Center!)

4. What is your favorite season and why?

My favorite season is Fall because that's when my birthday takes place. And I love Fall drinks like pumpkin lattes and wearing light jackets. I think the NY area looks like the best during the Fall.

5. What message do you have for the incoming class of 2019/returning Hofstra students as they begin their new school year?

My message for students starting the Fall 2015 semester...welcome home!
